“I cannot recommend Simon enough. He produced the most fantastic photos of my wedding, they were absolutely stunning. Simon was so great at the wedding, I was very nervous about having photos taken and if I had known he was about I would have tried to pose and probably ended up with some awful expressions, however I hardly even noticed him taking the photos! I have some amazing photos that I love, and I look at them often and remember my very special day. :-)”

“We got married last year and Simon was our wedding photographer. We absolutely LOVE our photos and have had the most amazing comments from friends and family. I was quite a nervous bride but Simon was a really calming influence throughout the day and made us feel so at ease. We felt strongly that we wanted photos that reflected our personalities and that were relaxed and spontaneous, never an easy task but Simon managed to capture the fun of the day so perfectly. Every time we look at our pictures we’re reminded of how happy our day was. We would wholeheartedly recommend Simon, he’s brilliant. “
I can stay with you or your partner all day, or as little of it as you want.
I can start the day with the bride or groom, or arrive at the church or arrive for the evening,
Whatever your preference I’m calm, quiet, and unobtrusive.
I charge for my time, not per image. Whether it’s 250 or 500 you’ll pay the same.
You get all the images on a disk, so you can supply relatives with as many as they want!
Alternatively I can make the entire album available for them to download through my own site.
Every wedding i have photographed has produced some unique moments, because my emphasis is always on catching these rather than staging large groups shots, or Disney-esque shots of the couple staring into each others eyes.I can do that, but so can lots of other people, and I like to think of each wedding as unique.
Here’s some of the pictures I like to get
Pre- wedding ceremony
I can follow the bride and bridesmaids as they get ready, the groom as he and his best man get ready (I can even cover both by roping in my son or my wife!)
The bride and her Dad. Just that.
The Groom seeing his bride for the first time is my “money” shot, sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t. But I think I’m off to a good start if I do!
Some good reaction shots of the guests and a close up of the rings going on the fingers are my other touchstones.
Candid photos of the guests enjoying themselves.
I don’t take shots of people eating. It’s just rude, and nobody looks good eating.
But if you’d like some pictures of the food/table arrangements, cake, that can be done.
Reactions from the bride, groom and guests of the speeches, always good.
Dancing ’til late
Just that, nightclub stuff, people doing things they’ll regret.Hopefully.
